Initial Consultation

The initial legal consultation (with a maximum duration of 15 minutes) is free of charge, provided this has been agreed in advance.

For an initial consultation lasting up to 60 minutes, I charge EUR 250.00 plus VAT.

Billing

Should you decide to task me with representing your interests, we will agree on a fee arrangement tailored to your individual needs and the specifics of the case.

If you have a legal insurance, a coverage inquiry will be submitted. Upon confirmation of cost coverage, billing is handled directly with the legal expenses insurer.

Depending on the nature and scope of the matter, billing is based on an hourly rate, the provisions of the Attorneys' Tariff Act (RATG) or — for clearly defined services — on the basis of a flat fee agreed in advance. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are charged based on standard hourly rates or in accordance with the provisions of the Austrian Attorneys' Fees Act (RATG), the Notarial Fees Act (NTG), or the General Fee Criteria (AHK).

Hourly billing

All services rendered are meticulously recorded, and you will be billed for the time spent on your advice and representation. You will of course receive a detailed and transparent breakdown of all services provided.

Tariff-based billing

The Austrian Attorneys' Fees Act (RATG), the Notarial Fees Act (NTG), and the General Fee Criteria for Attorneys (AHK) govern the remuneration of legal services in certain proceedings and establish specific fee rates for this purpose.

The amount of the respective tariffs is generally based on the value of the dispute and the nature and scope of the services rendered. Relevant factors include the number of written submissions, participation in hearings and other procedural activities.

Tariff-based billing provides a clear and transparent basis for fee assessment, particularly in court proceedings. It ensures transparency and is guided by legally prescribed assessment criteria.

Flat fee billing

If the expected time expenditure can be sufficiently estimated in advance, a flat fee agreement can be arranged. This provides cost certainty and clear predictability.

Unless otherwise agreed, fees are charged based on standard hourly rates or in accordance with the provisions of the Austrian Attorneys' Fees Act (RATG), the Notarial Fees Act (NTG), or the General Fee Criteria (AHK).
